JULY

4th, we went to Murray park to watch the fireworks, something we've been doing since I was a baby... the boys had tonz of fun.

We washed the car.

Then afterwords, the boys played in the sprinkler.

Grandma Merryweather came to visit us, the boys love when she plays her violin, she even teaches them how to hold it, Colby esspecially loves it.

24th, we went to the days of '47 parade, also something we've done since I was a baby. Colby & Ethan had lots of fun. Ethan was exhausted by the end. My aunts made that float.

Later that night we went to my parents house and watched fireworks, Rhett would let Colby go watch him light the firework and then they would hurry and run, Colby thought that was pretty fun. Ethan held his first sparkler. They both liked those.

Today I took colby to the eye doctor....he has lazy eye which we knew but we werent sure how serious it was....the doc told me that his eyes looked really healthy but obviously he needs glasses and needs to wear an eye patch for 2 hours a day, hopefully that will fix it, if not he will need surgery on his eye, hopefully the glasses will help.....Colby did so incredibly well for the doctor.....we got in and out of there pretty fast just because he let the doc do whatever he needed to do.

June 28, was my 25th birthday....I didnt really do too much, me & my sister went shopping, then later to my ward party....Rhett gave me really pretty pink flowers, and my mom gave me really pretty roses from her garden.

July 1, our friends Noa & Tara, Sam & Isaac, came to visit us from california....we first went down to temple square, then to cool off we went down to the gateway to play in the water, Colby absolutley loved it, if he could be in water all the time he would....Ethan loves water but has a hard time playing in it if it isnt the bathtub......

This was our first night out on the flamm ranch, we went for a little ride on the four wheelers, my first time on one, this night was also our 5 year anniversary, crazy how fast time goes.

This is also my first time on a horse, kinda scary at first, this horse didnt want to be ridden, but as soon as we got moving he was fine, and it was fun, I was pretty sore afterwords.

On the last day we went shooting.......

I hated that little pistol, it scared me so bad when I shot it and it was sooo loud!

I loved shooting the rifel, it was soo fun!

After we were done shooting, we went up
the mountain, it was soo pretty.

So big.

For a while now colby has been wanting to get himself dressed, he always got everything on backwards, and he always told me that thats how he likes it.......but tonight when he wanted to put his pj's on all by himself, he got them on the right way, he was so proud of himself, and I am so proud of him also, I cant believe how big my baby is getting. I love my little man!

Here is what we did for rhett for fathers day, except I used a different picture of colby, but it's on my moms camera which is why I just put up this one, I think you can see why I didnt use that one...ha. They had fun playing at the park and did so good when I wanted their pictures....my boys are the best!

Fathers day!

This is what me and my sisters did for my dad for fathers day, it was fun, and my dad thought it was neat, he's the best dad ever! I also did one for rhett with colby & ethan, but they spelled out dad. We havent givin it to him yet because he's been in california for a funeral, so he will see it tomorrow, so I will post that later.

Go Blaze!

Rhetts work gave everyone free tickets to the blaze game.....we also got free food YUM! The boys had fun rolling up the posters and yelling into them...colby would say "yah go, you can do it" It was soo funny. We ended up leaving the game early cuz me and rhett were really bored, I know party poopers, but it was late and our kids had to get to bed anyways. But the blaze did win 65-56.

Swimming.

June 4, we went down to the murray wreck center and went swimming, the boys were sooo excited, they LOVE water, I always have a tough time getting them out of the tub. When we got to the pool daddy put big ol' life jackets on them and it took colby a few minutes to get used to, but then he had a blast the rest of the time, he loved floating. Ethan hated the thing and even though he loves water, he couldnt do much with the life jacket on so he just let us carry him around. We ended up getting a pass to the center for a year so we will probably be going swimming a lot this year.

This was just a random shot, they were both just standing there, so I thought it would be a fun picture to take.

The boys were tired of being in the house so we decided to go outside and draw on the sidewalk, they love to draw and have never drawn on the sidewalk so this was pretty cool!
