Festival of Trees.

We went to the Festival of Trees to watch two of my little sisters dance.  There was a bubble machine where they put the kids in a bubble, then they blew and made another bubble. 

Ethan turned 6!

Ethan turned 6 on Nov. 8.  He was so happy to finally be 6.  He got to take a treat for his class, and Rhett took him to see Wreck it Ralph.  For his gifts he got a remote control Spiderman, and Avengers bed set.

  I got up that morning, got ready to go to my doctors app.  My mom and my sister came over to watch the boys so Rhett could go to work.  My mom and I first took Colby to school, then we headed to my appointment.  They sent me down to get an ultrasound first, since I was over due, they needed to make sure everything was okay still.  The ultrasound tech told me I was really low on fluid and it looked like baby had pooped, so I went back up to see my doctor, he told me it looked like baby had pooped to him too so he said it was time to get the baby out.  He sent me over over to labor and delivery, at this point I was dilated almost to a 3. They started me on pitocin at about 11 am.  My mom stayed with me most of the time until Rhett could get there.  Rhett got there at about 2 or so, since he had to take Ethan to his first day of Kindergarten, I am so sad that I missed that.  The nurse came in to check me a little after 3 and I was at a 5.  Thirty minutes later, I had her check me again, cause I felt a lot of pressure.  She came in and could already see the head, my doctor barely had time to get there and get gloves on, Garrett came out very quickly.  He was born at 4:22 pm, weighed 7 lbs and was 20 in. long, red hair.

Colby started 2nd grade on August 20th.  Both his best friends are in his class.  He was excited to start school again.

Ethan started school on September 4th.  His best friend is in his class and he was so excited to finally be in Kindergarten.  Rhett took him to school for his first day because I was in the hospital having a baby, I'm so sad I missed his first day.
