In March Dylan had his 9 month well check up, everything looked great, except his head was a little big, 18.8 in. which was around the 90th%, but since he didn't have symptoms of anything wrong, the doc. just told us to watch for anything abnormal. Then June 15th was his 12 month well check up, this time his head grew a lot, 19.7 in. which was the 98th%, but he still had nothing wrong with him and he was on time with his milestones, but his pediatrician wanted a CT scan done just to be safe. So we got an appointment to get one done the next day, I was in the room so I saw the scans right away and even I could tell something wasn't right, on the right side you could see his brain and on the left side all you could see was a huge space and a little bit of his brain on the sides. So they wanted us to get an MRI done, we were able to get in later the same day. The MRI only took about 45 min. and it took awhile for him to wake up. We wouldn't find out anything until the next day, so it was pretty nerve wracking waiting. When I called the next morning, the pediatrician said it looked like a cyst and so he referred us to a neurosurgeon so we could get a better idea of what it was and how we should go about treating it.

Trying to get Dylan to wake up after MRI.
